Surviving and then escaping being sold into the sex industry as a young girl is one thing. Turning that painful experience into something that might benefit other victims of the same crime is nothing short of heroic.  This is the story of the founder of Courtney’s House: survivor for survivor.   When Tina from Courtney’s House heard about Gift Card Giver she knew it might be a resource that would assist her in being able to offer the trauma recovery  through her program.  We sent cards to Subway, Carvel, Tropical Smoothie Café, Target, Cinemark Theaters, Hollister, Abercrombie, Plato’s Closet and Giant Food Stores.  We hope these cards will help Courtney’s House with their tremendous work.
