Last summer Gift Card Giver had a GREAT intern, who worked really hard, and really believes in Gift Card Giver.  He helped lead a tour across the Southeast collecting gift cards, and telling others about what we do.  He did a fabulous job.  He is in school in Tennessee and a few weeks ago, he led a gift card Drive to benefit Carl Perkins Center for Child Abuse Prevention.

Russ’ school collected over $800 in gift cards, and we were able to send them gift cards to restaurants, department stores and home furnishing stores, so they can continue the important work they are doing.  The Center combines a professional staff with trained volunteers to provide quality services to children and their families.  Their Mission is to provide support to families in preventing and dealing with child abuse in West Tennessee, and to help both parents and children meet the practical needs of preserving and and improving the quality of family life.
