We recently had a mom contact us very concerned, because she’d recently been undergoing treatments for a brain tumor.  It has left her and her daughter without much to live on, and she knew that if she did not have help, she would not have any gifts for her daughter for Christmas.  She asked for ANYTHING we could give, that might make her daughter’s Christmas a little brighter.  We had gift cards to Borders, and we mailed what we had to her to buy gifts for Mallory.  We received a note back from her that said, “Can’t think you enough for the gift cards to Borders.  It is the only gift I will be able to give my daughter Mallory for Christmas.  I can’t even put food on the table, let alone buy gifts or a tree.  Once again I thank you.”
