We have been watching with the rest of the world as Haiti is being dug out of the rubble of broken buildings and bodies.  It’s been a devastating and unfathomable week for the the people of Haiti and their loved ones who happened to be elsewhere when it took place.  Sometimes we feel completely overwhelmed with the needs, and we fail to do anything, and then sometimes someone helps us know how to help others.  The American Red Cross has raised over $3 Million in $10 increments with their texting idea.  Every little bit helps, and in the case of the American Red Cross, it has turned into a huge sum of money to help the people of Haiti.

Gift Card Giver is getting to help too!  We were able to send a few office supply gift cards to One Day’s Wages as they help with relief efforts, and helping them with administrative costs. We’re also partnering with Andrew Baker with the Encouragement Foundation at Harding University who is collecting gift cards on college campuses next week so that goods can be purchased to help in relief efforts.
