One of the Pittsburgh, PA Gift Card Drive parties is being hosted by Bryan Douglas from 2 – 6 PM on July 17th, 2010. The party is being held at the Bright Star Pavilion in South Park, PA 15129.
The gift cards collected will benefit Conflict Kitchen, a take-out restaurant that serves cuisine from countries that the United States is in conflict with. In an effort to foster intercultural dialogue and understanding, Conflict Kitchen also puts on events, performances, and discussions about the culture, politics, and issues at stake in each country.
Please bring at least one unused or partially used gift card to ensure admittance (because everyone gets “carded” at the park).
