The Waverly, TN tour stop for the Gift Card Drive will be in conjunction with the Waverly Elementary School/Waverly Junior High School Disaster Relief Fair from 5 to 9PM on July 29th, 2010. The event is taking place at Ray Hampton Stadium on the campus of Waverly Central High School.
The gift cards collected will benefit Waverly's elementary and junior high schools, which experienced significant devastation in the May 1 central Tennessee flooding. Gift cards collected will help replace teacher resources lost in the flood. To learn more about this cause and the fundraising event, visit the Disaster Relief Fair's Facebook event page.
Please bring at least one unused or partially used gift card to ensure admittance (because everyone gets “carded” upon entrance). Monetary donations of at least $1 are also being taken at the fair.
