This new form of giving started with a couple of friends sharing an idea at a table.  You are now taking this idea and sharing it with your friends at another table.  We hope this idea will spread across the nation.  However, this can only happen with you passionately capturing this vision and sharing it with others.

In preparation for your house party, we will send you a box of goodies to make it simple for your guests to learn more about GiftCardGiver.com.  We also hope you will create an awareness table with the swag for our cause.

SUGGESTIONS FOR A ROCKIN’ PARTY

1. Have a “bouncer” at the door welcoming friends and collecting gift cards (preferably wearing all black).
2. Have a variety of games prepared to play in different locations around the house (download the Official Game List for ideas).
3. Have light snacks and drinks available for guests.
4. Take a moment in the evening to share the facts about Gift Card Giver.
5. Remind people to check out the website for ordering shirts or giving donations.
6. Set up a computer on the awareness table with GiftCardGiver.com open in the browser.
7. Keep the power point presentation rolling throughout the night.
8. Play the *Founders Game (Rules Below) for a fun prize.
9. Serve FlavorIce or some other ice pop to your guests as they leave the party.  This is a signature Gift Card Giver ritual and we would love for you to keep the tradition going!

*FOUNDERS GAME
Play with 6-12 people. You will need 1 die, 1 pen, plus 1 piece of paper for each person.  Play around a table with no chairs and plenty of space (game is intended to get rowdy). The goal of the game is to write each number 1 to 100 legibly on your paper.  The first person to write 100 wins.  Control of the pen happens when a person rolls a 1 or 6.  At that time they are able to grab the pen (wherever it is located) and start writing their numbers on their paper.  That continues until the next person rolls a 1 or 6 and steals the pen away.  Each person gets one roll and the die moves clockwise continuously all game until there is a winner.  This is a very quick, fast moving and rolling game.  Feel free to be as loud and excited as possible!
